DuBois Wins Big At Home

The DuBois men's basketball team hosted the Pioneers from Butler County Community College this evening at the PAW Center on the DuBois campus.  It was a back-and-forth contest for the first few minutes until the Nittany Lions started hitting some big shots from the field while getting stops on the defensive end as well.

Taking a 19-point lead into the half, the Nittany Lions looked to dominate the game.  Coming back out in the 2nd half, DuBois continued their aggressive play and grew the lead a little more before the end of the game as they would go on to win, 101-69.

Jaiquil Johnson led all scorers with 25 points, shooting 3 for 3 from the 3-point line.  Kyron Harbin netted 21 points on 9 for 18 shooting while Kaleb Pryor and Nate Cornelius added 16 and 10 points, respectively.  Beau Verdill pulled down 13 rebounds for the Nittany Lions as well.

DuBois will play at home again on Saturday when they host Penn State Fayette in a PSUAC matchup slated for a 3:00 pm start time.
