Shenango Extends Conference Win Streak to 10

Penn State Shenango Women's Basketball continued their dominant season with a commanding 93-51 victory over Penn State Greater Allegheny, improving to 13-6 overall and 11-2 in conference play. Shenango controlled the game from the start, jumping out to a 26-4 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. Their strong inside presence and balanced scoring attack fueled an impressive 43.8% shooting performance from the field.

Shar'Da Williamson led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds, providing a key spark in the paint. Mya McNevin matched her with 18 points of her own, knocking down two three-pointers and grabbing six boards. Gabrielle King also had a standout performance, nearly securing a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Azaria Bryant Franklin contributed 11 points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Alli Lewis added eight points on an efficient 4-of-6 shooting.

Shenango dominated the rebounding battle, pulling down 58 boards compared to Greater Allegheny's 36. Their aggressive defense also forced 11 steals and held the visitors to just 29.6% shooting from the field.

With momentum on their side, the Shenango Women will be back in action on Tuesday when they take on Penn State New Kensington in another key conference matchup.
