Men's basketball faces NHTI in Quarterfinals

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Men's Basketball team will face off against NHTI, New Hamphire Technical Institute, in the USCAA Basketball National Championship Quarterfinals.  The game will be played this Sunday, March 3rd at 6:00pm in Uniontown, PA, in the Main Arena.  Penn State Wilkes-Barre is the third seed and NHTI is seeded sixth.

NHTI has an overall record of 27-4 and is 14-2 in the Yankee Small College Conference.  The NHTI men's basketball team is currently on a seven game winning streak, which includes winning the Championship in the YSCC tournament.

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's team is currently coming off a heartbreaking loss to Penn State York in the PSUAC Championship game.  The men's team is hungry to prove themselves and compete in USCAA tournament.  Wilkes-Barre has a record of 22-5 throughout the season and averages nearly 80 points a game.  The team is lead by Khalil White, who is averaging 15.2 points a game and shooting 39.6% from the field. Along with White, Ameer Biddle is leading the team defensivley with 2.4 steals and 1 block per game.
