Big Second Half Sees GA Top 100 points, Break Single Game Record, and Secure Win vs Villa Maria

The Greater Allegheny Women's Basketball team is 2-1 after a strong showing on Saturday against Villa Maria. GA topped the 100 point mark for the first time this season and achieved the highest single game point total in program history. The previous record was 98 scored in 2016.

Paced by Isabella Vazquez's 21 points and 22 rebounds, GA fell behind early in the first quarter 32-18.

Everything changed from there.

A relentless press saw GA create 31 turnovers from the visitors resulting in outscoring the opponents in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters.

Mia McNair also added 21 points going 2 of 3 from 3 point range and Karissa Spade chipped in 19 with 5 assists for the home side.

Greater Allegheny travels to Point Park on Monday for the first game of a home and home series. Return game is Wednesday at the Wunderley gym at 7pm.
