Lions fall to Beaver in Fryer's debut.
It was the first time the PSU Schuylkill Soccer team step on the field as a unit and it showed. PSU Beaver scored in the first minute of the game putting Schuylkill on their heels. PSU Beaver continued with the momentum scoring 2 more times in the next 5 minutes to take control 3-0. For the next 25 minutes, PSU Schuylkill gained their footing and kept the game locked at 3-0 getting a few scoring chances their selves. However, Beaver would tally 2 more goals in the closing stages of the first half. In stoppage time of the first half, PSU Schuylkill notched their first goal of the season with a nice pass from Chike Ubaka to Taha Karadeniz in the box for the goal. Hoping the goal would give the Schuylkill some confidence. However, after the half time intermission PSU Beaver struck quickly again, scoring in the first minute of the 2nd half. After the quick start to the second half, PSU Beaver didn't let up. They started firing shots at the goal, resulting in 3 more goals. PSU Schuylkill used 3 different goalies to try to stop the Beaver attacked. PSU Schuylkill has a quick turnaround as they play PSU Greater Allegheny tomorrow at 1 PM.
