Kolby Miller, Penn State York

Weston, Fla. 

Pitcher Kolby Miller threw a no-hitter in Penn State York's 2-0 win over Penn State Brandywine. Miller struck out three and walked three in the seven-inning effort as part of a doubleheader.

BASEBALL HITTER OF THE WEEK

Jason Malley, Penn State Shenango

First Year

New Castle, Pa.

Jason Malley helped lead Shenango to 30 total runs and two wins across three games this past week. Malley went 6-for-11 at the plate with three runs scored, five extra-base hits and tallied eight RBI. He also hit his first career home run against Franciscan University.

 Kierstyn Mays smacked nine hits in six games, producing two doubles and three home runs while driving in 11 RBI during the week. Mays had a .474 batting average for the week and a .524 on-base percentage.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Brandon Pupek, Penn State Schuylkill

First Year

Pottstown, Pa.

 Brandon Pupek was strong at the plate as Penn State Schuylkill completed doubleheaders against SUNY Corning and Albright College. In the SUNY series, Pupek went 1-3 at the plate with two stolen bases in a 12-2 win for Schuylkill. He was steady against Albright as well. Pupek went a combined for 4-5 at the plate with two RBIs.

TEAM OF THE WEEK

Penn State Mont Alto Softball

 Penn State Mont Alto is coming off a dominant weekend, winning by a combined score of 51-13 across four games against Alleghany College of Maryland and Frederick Community College. Three of the four games were decided within five innings as Mont Alto won by mercy rule.
