Women’s Tennis: Pompili Victorious as Lady Wildcats Lose 8-1 to Lycoming
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite a fourth singles victory from junior Taylor Pompili (Renovo), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's tennis team lost 8-1 to Lycoming College Thursday. Pompili edged out Abbey Smith in three set battle 7-6 (7-2), 2-6, 10-5. The Lady Wildcats fought hard in all matched with several decided by tie-breakers and third sets. With the loss, they now fall to 2-7 overall.
Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Mont Alto, on Saturday, Oct. 12 for a noon match.
