WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Colleen Bowes (Wayne) made 17 saves to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team tie Alfred State 1-1 Saturday. Sophomore Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) scored the lone goal for the Lady Wildcats. With the tie, the team is now 7-4-1 overall.
In the game, the Pioneers outshot Penn College 39-15. Kali Muhleisen opened the game in the 6th off a pass from Keri Teufel.
In the 18th, Beddow equalized dodging defenders up the side and sending it into the corner. Despite strong opportunities on both sides, neither team was able to break the stalemate.
Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Greater Allegheny on Sunday, Oct. 13 for a 1 p.m. match.
