Women’s Soccer: Lady Wildcats Hold PSU Greater Allegheny to Two Shots in 13-0 Win

 

MCKEESPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team held Penn State Greater Allegheny to two shots on its way to a 13-0 win Sunday. Sophomore Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) and freshmen Kelsea Robbins (Milton) and Sadie Bebko (Allegheny, N.Y.) each scored two goals in the win. Freshman keeper Colleen Bowes (Wayne) recorded the win in goal with two saves. With the victory, Penn College improves to 8-4-1 overall. 

 

Both Walters and Robbins scored the first four goals alternating. Junior Elizabeth Greis (Pottsville) and freshman Abigail Chapman (Mount Carmel) closed out the half each scoring a goal off a pass from sophomore Cassandra Bulkley (Milford). Also recording an assist in the half was sophomore Laresa Paden (Mifflintown).

 

Freshman Trinda Wertman (Watsontown) opened up the second half followed by freshman Kierstin Craig-Sovic (Selinsgrove). Both goals were assisted by Walters. Bebko followed scoring her first of two goals in the half.

 

Meagan Dosch (Aspers) missed a penalty kick but made up for it scoring on the rebound Abigail Grey (Williamsport).

 

Next up, Penn College hosts University of Maine – Fort Kent on Tuesday, Oct. 15 for a 2 p.m. match.
