As the first half began, Thiel delivered the first of many goals at the 5:19 mark on a young team that had just begun playing together. Not only did Thiel seem to score effortlessly, they were very consistent in the way they played and in the way they scored. Thiel's offense proved to be a challenge for Beaver's defense to stop the rest of the half, ending with Thiel on top, 8-0.
In the second half, Thiel continued to shine over Beaver's offense, with little hope for a win. Beaver's goalie, Amanda Donatelli (Indiana, PA/Indiana) proved to be the most valuable asset to the team, keeping the final score at 12-0, with 18 saves.
Beaver's next match up is home against West Moreland County Community College at 3 p.m.
