Media, PA--- The Penn State Lady Lions are the 2012-2013 PSUAC champs, beating PSU Greater Allegheny to take this season's crown. The Lady Lions won each of their three playoff games by double digits in route to the title. Beaver outrebounded GA 56-27 and had only 15 turnovers compared to 25 for GA.
Hayden Kimbrough (Rochester, Rochester) scored the game-high for the second straight game as she finished with 20 points and also grabbed 13 rebounds. Senior Brittany Tomaselli (East Liverpool, East Liverpool) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in her final PSUAC game. Katie Dennis (Hookstown, South Side) scored 11 points and had 12 rebounds for the double-double and Cassandra Flowers (Pittsburgh, Westinghouse) also had a double-double scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
Penn State Beaver will now travel to Penn State Fayette for this season's USCAA national tournament that will begin next week. Congratulations to the 2012-2013 PSUAC Women's Basketball Champions, Penn State Beaver.
