SCRANTON, Pa. - With the help of two goals from sophomore Christian Dressler (McAlisterville) the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team defeated Penn State Scranton 6-0 Wednesday. The win is the sixth in the Penn State University Athletic Conference for the Wildcats that also improve to 11-4 overall. Freshman Malcolm Kane (Glenside) recorded the shutout totaling five saves.
Penn College scored two goals in the first half with senior Christopher Brennan (New Hope) opening things up in the 28th. Dressler followed it up with a goal in the 33rd.
Scoring goals in the second half for the Wildcats were Dressler, seniors Phil Bair (Harrisburg) and Cody Sollenberger (Leola) and freshman Robert Klingerman (Langhorne).
Next up, Penn College hosts Penn State Wilkes Barre on Saturday, Oct. 12 for a 3 p.m. match.
