WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Luke McFalls (New Oxford) scored two goals to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team to a 4-1 victory over Penn State Beaver. The Wildcats outshot Beaver 42-6 but had a hard time finding the net getting only 21 shots on goal. Freshman Malcolm Kane (Glenside) records the win in goal with a save. With the victory, Penn College improves to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
McFalls put the Wildcats on top first taking a pass from sophomore Christian Dressler (McAlisterville) in the 16th. Senior Christopher Brennan (New Hope) followed in the 30th getting a rebound and putting it in the cage. McFalls closed out the half netting a ball in the 39th.
In the second period, Penn College outshot the Lions 13-3. Nidal Qaddumi sent a pass from Dominick Gajdos in the 79th to make it a 3-1 game. Freshman Devyn Tucker (Heidleberg, Germany) put away any chances of a comeback sending a laser from 20 yards out in the 89th.
Next up, Penn College travels to Bryn Athyn College on Thursday, Sept. 26 for a 4 p.m. match.
