Men’s Soccer: Wildcats Defeat Mount Aloysius 3-1 in Physical Game

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With 45 fouls and six cards, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team survived a physical match with Mount Aloysius winning 3-1. Sophomore Tarik Laroche (Milton) notched two goals in the win while junior Jacob Tuck (Hollsopple) recorded two assists. Freshman keeper Malcolm Kane (Glenside) earned the win with nine saves. The Wildcats now improve to 5-2 overall.  

 

Senior Phil Bair (Harrisburg) sent in a deep ball for Laroche to finish off in the 11th to put Penn College up in the first. Sophomore Luke McFalls (New Oxford) followed it up in the 23rd off a pass from Tuck.

 

Out of the break, Charlie Old put Mount Aloysius (3-5) back in the game netting a ball in the 69th. Laroche quickly put away any chance of a comeback bending a ball from 30 yards out in the upper corner of the goal in the 79th..

 

In the game, the Wildcats totaled 18 shots and had 21 fouls.

 

Next up, Penn College hosts Penn State York on Saturday, Sept. 21 for a 1 p.m. game.
