Wilkes-Barre Soccer Wins on the Road at Mont Alto

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre (2-6) soccer team got another win on Saturday afternoon against Penn State Mont Alto by a score of 9-1. The Mountain Lions scored four first half goals and added five more in the second half to end the game with a game-high nine goals. Six different players scored for Wilkes-Barre with Freshman David Cavalieri starting the rally with his first goal only 14 minutes into the game. Sophomore Mark Bugelholl scored back to back goals while Cavaleri notched another goal to close out the first half. To start the second half, Junior Anthony Aquilina added a goal and minutes later Rob Hadvance scored two goals of his own. Sophomore Denzel Mensah scored a goal eight minutes later and Stephen Christian ended all scoring for the Mountian Lions ten minutes left in regulation. Wilkes-Barre will play its last game of the season Tuesday afternoon at home against Penn State Worthington Scranton at 4 p.m
