NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. – Junior Chris Brennan (New Hope) scored a season high four goals and added an assist as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team defeated Penn State New Kensington 6-1. Freshmen Tarik LaRoche (Milton) and Christian Dressler (Mifflintown) each added a goal in the win that sees the team improve to 11-2-1 overall and 8-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference. Junior David Munn (Athens) recorded the victory in goal with four saves.
New Kensington got on the board first in the sixth off a goal from Casey Cavanaugh. LaRoche equalized just two minutes later off a pass from Brennan.
Brennan would then go on to score three back-to-back goals starting in the 23rd taking the Wildcats into the break up 4-1. In the half, they outshot the Lions 10-4.
Dressler made it 5-0 in the 56th after which Brennan put it out of reach with a goal in the 63rd. Also for Penn College, senior Ben Shade (Fleetwood) recorded an assist.
The Wildcats next travel to Penn State Hazleton on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m.
