Unionville, PA--- The Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer team got back to action on Thursday evening as they hosted Thiel College at Green Valley Park. After Thiel scored the opening goal, Beaver answered with two straight goals to close out the first half with a one goal lead. The first goal was netted by Juan Castano (Coraopolis, Moon) with the assist from Brian Nuckols (Pittsburgh, Langley). The second goal was from Tyler Blake (Crescent, Moon) who scored unassisted.
Thiel opened up the second half scoring the first two goals of the half. But Beaver answered with another goal from Blake with the assist from Brad Prosper (Aliquippa, Central Valley). Thiel then found the back of the net once more to take the lead for good as the game finished with a 4-3 Thiel victory.
Tyler Blake's two goals gives him 5 so far in just 4 games of the young season. Beaver will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Penn State Schuykill with the game scheduled to start at 1pm. Keep checking back on the Beaver Athletic Website for updates all season long
