Wilson and PSU Wilkes-Barre Sweep Honors at Blue Course

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Wilkes-Barre picked up their second PSUAC Invitational championship on Monday, capturing the PSUAC Blue Course Invitational hosted by Penn State DuBois. The Lions added to their trophy collection, which also includes the White Course Invitational, with a team score of 338.

Wilkes-Barre's Jonathan Wilson picked up medalist honors with a 3-over par 75 on a dreary day in State College. But Wilson handled the cool, overcast conditions to win by three over the White Course Invitational medalist Austin Green, who finished at 6-over 78.

Wilkes-Barre was chased by Penn State Brandywine and Penn State Mont Alto, who posted team scores of 342 and 343 respectively.

The PSUAC Championships will be held October 8-9 at the Penn State Golf Courses in conjunction with the USCAA National Golf Championships.
