Lehigh Valley Swipes PSUAC Golf Championships

State College, Pa. - For the second year in a row, the Penn State Lehigh Valley Nittany Lions took home the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championship title after scoring a combined 670 over two days of action.

Penn State Mont Alto's Austin Green managed to place 3rd overall, 1st in the PSUAC, with a two-day tally of 78 and 70, giving him a 148 total, just four-above-par. Lehigh Valley's Shane Rhodes came in 2nd overall for the PSUAC, tied for 26th overall, as he marked a 164 total (80/84) over the two days.

Hazleton's Garrett Madison came in 3rd for the PSUAC, tied for 30th overall, with the score of 165 (81/84). Penn State Wilkes-Barre's Tim Walters also tied for 30th overall, but placed 4th overall in the PSUAC All-Conference list with a score of 165 (79/86). Sophomore Ethan Culver from Lehigh Valley wrapped up the top five finishers of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, tying for 39th overall with a tally of 167 (79/88).

Lehigh Valley finished up in 7th place overall in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament, just 61 total strokes behind Cleary University, who placed first overall.
