Golf: Howe Places Second as Wildcats Claim Fourth Win of Season
DALLAS, Pa. – Pennsylvania College of Technology senior Alex Howe (Lake Ariel) shot an 82 on a par 72 to place second at the Penn State Wilkes Barre Invitational held at Irem Temple Country Club Thursday. Howe helped Penn College win its fourth consecutive invitational with a team score of 345 besting second place Penn State DuBois which shot a 356. A total of seven teams and 38 golfers were in attendance.
Also for the Wildcats, sophomore Calvin Foust (Palmyra) had a good day shooting an 86 while junior Nicholas Krupka (Allentown) was right behind with an 87.
Next up, Penn College travels to the Hazleton Valley Country Club on Monday, Sept. 30 for the Penn State Hazleton Invitational.
