GOLF: Wildcats Win Second Straight Invitational

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Competing in its own Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) invitational Monday, the Pennsylvania College of Technology golf team took first place, the second straight week the team has topped the competition. With nine teams and 47 golfers in attendance, senior Alex Howe (Lake Ariel) took third place shooting an 80 on the par 72 course. As a team, Penn College totaled 323 points with Penn State Mont Alto and Penn State Lehigh Valley tying for second at 346.

  

Right behind Howe, junior Corey Teeple (Lake Ariel), and freshmen CJ Foust (Palmyra) and Samuel Bubb (Williamsport) each shot an 81.

 

Next up, Penn College travels to the Mountain Valley Golf Course for the Penn State Schuylkill Invitational on Sept. 19.
