Wildcats Win by a Stroke at PSU Brandywine Invitational

MEDIA, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology golf team just edged out Penn State Mont Alto to take the top spot at the Penn State Brandywine Invitational Wednesday. The Wildcats totaled 336 just one shot better than Mont Alto's 336. Sophomore Corey Teeple (Lake Ariel) and freshman Jesse Newman (Waterfall) led the team shooting 83, good enough for a tie at second place in the 44 golfer field.

Also for Penn College, sophomore Nicolas Krupka (Allentown) shot a personal best 84 while freshman Brian MacPherson (Salem, N.H.) was right behind with an 85. It was a strong day for all Wildcat golfers with junior Alex Howe (Lake Ariel) and freshman Bryce Petersheim (Birdsboro) rounding out the team scores shooting an 88 and 89 respectively.

Next up, Penn College travels to Hazleton Valley Country Club for the Penn State Hazleton Invitational on Monday, Oct. 1 for an 11 a.m. match.
