Wildcat Golfers Take Second at PSU Mont Alto Invitational
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology golf team placed second at its first invitational of the season hosted by Penn State Mont Alto. Junior Alex Howe (Lake Ariel) took second with a 76 among the 46 golfers in attendance at Penn National Golf Course. Host Penn State Mont Alto placed first of the eight teams with a score of 321 as the Wildcats were just four strokes shy at 325.
Freshman Bryce Petersheim (Birdsboro) shot an 80, good enough for fifth while sophomore Corey Teeple (Lake Ariel) hit an 84. Sophomore Nicolas Krupka (Allentown) tied with freshman teammate Brian MacPherson (Salem, N.H.) with an 85 and freshman Zachary Frazier (Williamsport) rounded out the Wildcats with an 88.
Next up, Penn College travels to Irem Temple Country Club for the Penn State Wilkes Barre Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 18.
