Beaver One Win Away From PSUAC Title

Monaca, PA--- Penn State Beaver faced PSU Brandywine in this year's PSUAC Final Four on Saturday night and came away with the win 99-71. Beaver took control early in the contest and put the game out of reach early in what is possibly their best performance of the season. The Lions out-shot Brandywine 48% to 38% and only had 15 turnovers compared to 26 for Brandywine.

Beaver got big games out of their PSUAC First Team selctions. Rob Agurs (Pittsburgh, Penn Hills) finished with 27 points and 9 rebounds while Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls) scored 20 points and added 11 assists to give him the double-double. Chris Weathers (New Brighton, New Brighton) scored 10 points to give the Lions three scorers in double figures.

Beaver will play tomorrow for the PSUAC Championship. They will play the #3 seeded PSU York and the tip-off will be at 3pm from the Beaver Fieldhouse.
