Penn College Falls to Schuylkill

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. - Freshman Colton Acorn (Wellsboro) scored 22 in the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's basketball team lost 77-64 to Penn State Schuylkill Monday night. Sophomore Bryant House (Columbia Crossroads) sank 11 while freshman Scott Fenton (Dickson City) added 10. The loss drops the team to 4-20 overall and 4-11 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Wildcat defense held Schuylkill to 34 percent shooting in the first half. They went into the break down only 34-28. Schuylkill came out hot in the second and built a 20 point lead. The Wildcats brought it back but could not take the lead.

The Lions shot 50 percent in the second half. They outrebounded Penn College 49-34.

The Wildcats have one remaining game against Penn State New Kensington. The game, postponed due to inclement weather, has yet to receive a rescheduled date.
