Mont Alto, Pa- Junior Guard Mike McCarthy's (Sto Rox) 18 points weren't enough to help pull Greater Allegheny out of its losing streak, as they were beaten 65-59 by Penn State Mont Alto. The GA men have now lost 7 straight games, with all 7 being PSUAC games.
Sophomore Guard Nick Dizon (Woodland Hills) scored 13 points, and Sophomore Forward Aaron Byrd (Dr. Henry A. Wise) scored 12. Sophomore Forward David Caparosa (Woodland Hills) also put in a solid effort on the score sheet, adding 6 points.
The loss drops GA's record to 5-16 overall, as they fell to 3-12 in the PSUAC. The men will try and get back on the winning side of things, when they travel to Pitt-Titusville Monday, February 6. Tip time is 8 PM.
