Du Bois, Pa- For the sixth time in eight games, the Greater Allegheny men failed to reach the win column, as they were bested by Penn State Du Bois (12-5, 7-2), 78-65.
Three GA men scored in double-figures, led by Freshman Guard Robert Taylor's (Peabody) 20, on 8-14 shooting. Sophomore Guard Nick Dizon (Woodland Hills) scored 15 points, while Junior Guad Mike McCarthy (Sto Rox) scored 10. GA shot a strong 46% from the field, but were dominated on the glass, losing the battle 45-26.
The Greater Allegheny men now fall to 5-11 overall, 3-7 in PSUAC play. They, as with the women, are now set to travel east for a weekend swing of PSUAC games. GA will open up with Penn State Wilkes-barre on January 27, with the game starting at 8 PM.
