East vs. West Matchup

Schuylkill Haven, PA- Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball Team (6-2, 3-1 PSUAC) played an away game this weekend against Penn State Schuylkill (Schuylkill Haven, PA).

The game started out with Beaver up 12-7 from a very excellent performance by Robert Agurs (Penn Hills/Pittsburgh, PA) and Nick Miller (Beaver Falls/Beaver Falls, PA). Schuylkill hung in there with Beaver in the half however. Beaver went into the half up 36-31.

The second half was much like the first, with Beaver expanding their close lead at the half eventually dominating the game. Beaver went onto win the game 82-69.

For the night, Beaver shot 35.1% from the field, and 23.8% from three point rage. Chris Weathers (New Brighton/New Brighton, PA) led the team with 19 points, followed by Agurs with 18, Miller contributed 16, and Darius Prince (West Mifflin/Pittsburgh, PA) with 14. Prince also had 10 steals and Agurs had 10 rebounds.

Beaver will play Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 3pm against Penn College (Williamsport, PA).
