Men's Basketball Doomed By Poor Shooting Against Penn State DuBois

McKeesport, Pa- It was a rough night for the Penn State Greater Allegheny Lions. A 20 point deficit at the end of the first half was simply too much to overcome, as Penn State DuBois cruised to a 65-46 victory.  The team shot just 25.4% from the field for the game and only a 15.4% 3-point shooting percentage.

Most impressive for PSUGA was Freshmen Guard Eric Butler from Philadelphia, PA. He scored 10 points despite being on the floor for just 22 minutes. Freshman Guard Robert Taylor (Peabody) and Junior Guard Mike McCarthy (Sto Rox) led the team with 14 and 12 points respectively, despite a tough night shooting.

Following the setback, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team now owns a 3-6 overall record, and falls to 2-3 in PSUAC play. The GA men will be back in action Wednesday, December 7th, as they travel to Edinboro for a 7:00 PM tilt.
