The Lions Come to a Draw Against Brandywine

New Kensington, Pa. - The Lions welcomed Penn State Brandywine to their home turf on Saturday, September 30th. 

Things started off well for the Lions with third year Jacob Guerrini (Lower Burrell, Pa.) scoring for New Kensington just two minutes into play. The lead did not last long with Brandywine's Chris Manful scoring to tie the game up. The Lions came back to take the advantage with first year Ethan Wineberg (Dubois, Pa.) scoring towards the end of the first half. With only five minutes left in the game, Brandywine's Ali Abdelhady scored, leaving both teams at a standstill with the score 2-2. 

New Kensington takes on Johnson & Wales-Charlotte Sunday, October 1st at 12pm.
