SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. - Penn State Schuylkill Women's Basketball lost their home opener to NCAA Division II opponent Mansfield University on Friday.
Mansfield ended the first period with a 20-2 advantage over Schuylkill and rode their hot start throughout the remainder of the contest. Mansfield shot 54% from the field for the game. Jasmine Wright (Sicklerville, NJ / Winslow Township High School) finished with 8 points and 5 rebounds for Schuylkill.
Schuylkill (1-5 overall, 0-0 PSUAC) will begin PSUAC conference play on Tuesday, November 28th as they travel to Penn State York. Start time for that matchup is 6:00 p.m.
