Beaver drops another game to a PSUAC competitor, final score of 13-0
Uniontown, PA - Another tough game for the Lions as they traveled to take on a PSUAC competitior again today. Beaver traveled to take on Penn State Fayette in a single game match-up. Ending in 7 innings, Beaver fell to Fayette with a score of 13-0. The Lions tallied only 4 hits in 7 innings which was just not enough to push them to a victory.
Starting on the mound for Beaver was senior, Dom Petrella who faced 21 batters. In relief for Beaver was Freshman, Jacob Gresham, and Freshman, Aaron Stribling. Sophomore, Jake Gartley tried to get things going for Beaver hitting the teams only double of the day. Senior, Jacob Beck, and Freshman, Aaron Stribling both went 1 for 2 on the day and both tallied a walk. The team tried to do everything they could to compete throughout the game but their efforts were unmatched and they were unable to walk away victorious.
