MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine volleyball team was downed in straight sets (25-17, 25-15, 25-19) by Albright on Thursday night.
Anna Ramirez (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) recorded a team-high eight kills and matched Laura Jezyk (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth) and Sydney Terrell (Walkersville, Md./St. John's Catholic Prep) for the team lead with eight digs. Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) added five kills, six digs and a team-best four blocks.
Terrell notched 12 assists and two blocks, while Lexie Berry (Brookhaven, Pa./Daegu) and Sydney Stevens (Wilmington, Del./Alexis I. DuPont) both collected three digs.
Brandywine (7-4, 5-0 PSUAC) returns to conference play Monday at Penn State Schuylkill beginning at 6:00 PM.
