HACKETTSTOWN, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Women's Basketball fell on the road to NCAA Division III opponent Centenary University.
Centenary got off to a hot start, outscoring Schuylkill 42-8 during the first half. Schuylkill won the scoring matchup during the second half, 27-25 while holding Centenary to 8 points during the final period.
Ava Novak (New Media, PA / Southern Columbia High School) led the team in scoring with 14 points to go with 6 rebounds. Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / John F Kennedy Memorial High School) finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Jasmine Wright (Sicklerville, NJ / Winslow Township High School) added 8 points off the bench.
Schuylkill (1-4 overall, 0-0 PSUAC) will play in their home opener on Friday, November 17th against NCAA Division II opponent Mansfield University.
