MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine recorded its second three-set sweep of Penn State Lehigh Valley this season, earning a 3-0 victory by scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-6 on Thursday night.

Brandywine trailed 4-3 early in the opening set, but consecutive kills from Sophie Scrivo (Chester, Conn./Valley Regional) started a 17-2 Lions' run that helped the hosts run away with the first frame.

Lehigh Valley scored back-to-back points to tie Brandywine at 7-7 during the second set; however, the Lions answered with seven-straight points thanks to five Lehigh Valley errors and kills from Lexie Berry (Brookhaven, Pa./Daegu) and Anna Ramirez (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East). The visitors closed within six at 21-15, but Brandywine claimed the set by notching four of the final five points, including two kills by Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro).

Brandywine took control of the final set with an 11-1 run that made the count 16-4. The Lions allowed back-to-back Lehigh Valley points before reeling off the final nine points of the night to win in a sweep.
