Brandywine Edges Past Wilkes Barre 3-2

WILKES BARRE, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine won its sixth-straight PSUAC men's soccer games as the Lions outlasted Penn State Wilkes Barre 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Brandywine (7-8, 6-1 PSUAC) received a pair of goals from Bill Walleekendeh (Chester, Pa./Chester) and one from Pat Lutes (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner).

Walleekendeh upped his upped his goal total to 14 on the season as he has scored in all seven conference matches this season and 17-straight dating back to 2013. His first goal came on a penalty kick after he was hauled down in the box and he later added another goal from inside the box.

Lutes' tally was scored off feeds from Walleekendeh and freshman defender James Cellucci (Rosemont, Pa./Radnor).

Brandywine hosts Penn State York in a pivotal PSUAC battle on Wednesday at 3:30 pm. Both teams have lost just one conference game and have two matches remaining in the regular season.
