New Kensington, PA ---- Penn State New Kensington was dominated by Penn State Shenango on Saturday, Feb. 3rd. 

Points from Destiny Batiste (Thibadoux, LA) and Esther Cole (Brooklyn, NY) helped PSNK put up a good fight, but it wasn't enough to take the win. Batiste totaled 21 points while Cole scored 18 throughout the game. 

The first quarter started with Batiste and Tori Johnson (New Kensington, PA) rallying up New Ken's first few points on the board. After two ties, Shenango began taking over the scoreboard with PSNK not far behind. 

Batiste contributed 14 points in the first half, which helped PSNK go into halftime with 26 points. 

The halftime score was 35 –26. 

Entering the second half, PSNK called a full timeout following Shenango's earning of 10 points. Towards the end, New Ken continued to fight against the clock as they added 28 points, 12 of which were scored by Cole, to their score. 

The final score was 86 –54, with Shenango taking the win.
