Men's Soccer Shut Out by Berkeley-NJ Knights

New Kensington, PA - The Lions welcomed Berkeley-NJ Friday afternoon, in their season opener.

The score remained tied at 0-0 after the first 45 minutes of play.

The Knights dominated the second half offensively and scored the final three goals. The Knights never looked back on their way to a 3-0 victory over our beloved Lions.

The Lions could not get anything going offensively, as they were outshot 24-7 on the afternoon. New Kensington had seven different players register a shot, none of which found their way past the goalkeeper.

Goalkeeper Kenton Knox (White Oak,PA) was solid in the net for New Kensington, allowing only 3 goals on 17 shot attempts from a team that finshed with 10 corner kicks on the day.
