Women's Basketball Goes 2-0 Against Western PSUAC Opponents

ALLENTOWN, PA (January 12 & January 13, 2024) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team improves to 11-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play by going 2-0 against western PSUAC opponents Penn State New Kensington and Penn State Shenango.

On Friday night, Penn State Lehigh Valley beat Penn State New Kensington, 78-53. Six players in double digits led by Hillary Offing with 13 points. Gabby Giracello and Chloe Cassidy chipped in with 12 points each. Sam Columna and Gianna Torretta added 11 points and Nia Newman recorded 10 points.

On Saturday afternoon, Penn State Lehigh Valley beat 9-2 Penn State Shenango, 94-61. Five players were in double figures led by Hillary Offing with a monster double double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Gianna Torretta chipped in with 17 points. Chloe Cassidy added 13 points. Naila Newman and Sam Columna added 10 points.

Lehigh Valley is currently on an 8 game winning streak with 11 regular season games remaining. Their next conference game is Tuesday at Penn State York.
