New Kensington falls short to Greater Allegheny

New Kensington- The Lions welcomed Penn State Greater Allegheny Thursday night, in their conference opener.  

New Kensington started off strong winning in a nail biter first set, 25-23. New Ken failed to hold their momentum and fell the next three,(25-13, 25-18, 25-10). 

The Lion's Kayla Unger (Carlisle, PA), Gabby Wolfkill (Mifflin, PA) and Giana Miller (Monroeville, PA) led the team with 6 kills each on the night. Kayla Carnahan (Sarver, PA) was all over the court, as she tallied 34 total digs for the match. 

New Kensington will look to get back on track this Tuesday, September 12th, as Penn State Fayette travels to New Kensington for a conference showdown.
