Fayette wins home opener against GA

Lemont Furance, PA- Fayette Volleyball wins home opener.

Fayette has been on the road alot so far this season, but that changed today with a home opener against Penn State Greater Allegheny. Fayette came out strong in the first set, winning 25-13 over Greater Allegheny, who was already 2-0 in the PSUAC. Despite Greater Allegheny's hustle in the second set, Fayette held on, once again winning the set, making the match 2-0. Fayette looked to sweep their conference revial, but Greater Allegheny came out on fire, winning the set 25-19. Heading into the fourth set Fayette turned on the power, pushing through to win it all with a 25-15 set.

Fayette was led by Kamden Miller 12 kills and 16 digs, following close behind was Pasepa Driso-Buwawa with 10 kills and 17 digs. Tyannah Edding was also able to add to the Fayette defense with 12 digs. 

Fayette is now 4-3 overall and 2-0 in the PSUAC. The team looks to continue their home game momentum on Monday, where they will take on Penn State Beaver for a 7:00 P.M. start.
