Sharon, PA---- Penn State New Kensington vs. Penn State Shenango on Tuesday, Jan 16th at the Buhl Club. 

Penn State New Kensington took an early 10-6 lead with 5 minutes left in the first quarter. Esther Cole (Brooklyn, NY) with 9 points, and 7 rebounds (6 of which was in the first half). Destiny Batiste (Thibodaux, LA) also contributed 7 rebounds, along with 5 assists in a staggering loss to Penn State Shenango. 

Shooting 52.6% from the field in the 2nd quarter Penn State Shenango led New Kensington 18-40 at the end of the half.  

Jada Norman (New Kensington, PA) Jayde Rivera (Dover, DE), and Batiste combined for 17 of PSNK's 34. However, by the end of the second half, Penn State Shenango capitalized on PSNK's 22 turnovers scoring 19 efficient points to take the win with 64 points.  

Penn State New Kensington finished the game shootings 13-54 from the field and 3-14 from behind while both teams ended with 50% at free throws.
