ASTON, Pa. – The Penn State Brandywine volleyball team was defeated in straight sets during its first road matchup of the year at Neumann University on Wednesday. Set scores for the match were 25-13, 25-10, 25-17.
Sydney Terrell (Walkersville, Md./St. John's Catholic Prep) produced a team-high 10 digs and added four assists and three kills, while Suzie Alvarenga (Fullerton, Calif./Notre Dame Academy) tallied eight digs and four assists.
Offensively, Anna Ramirez (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) led the Lions with seven kills. Amanda Floyd (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) notched five kills and Laura Jezyk (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth) handed out seven assists.
Brandywine (1-2, 1-0 PSUAC) will play for the third-straight day when it hosts Bryn Athyn on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
