Cincinnati, OH- Fayette has hard first road loss.
Fayette had a tough first game against UCC on the road. UCC is a top contender in the USCAA for women's basketball and has experienced mulitple final four placements throughout the years for the National Tournament. Despite the loss, leading for Fayette was first year player, Sophia Zalar with 21 points.
Head Coach Scott Hillen commented on the loss, "We couldn't run any type of offence. They were a much better team than us."
UCC won the game with a final score of 79-55.
