Fayette is heading home to Rec Hall

Lemont Furnace, PA- Penn State Fayette wins in set four against Penn State Greater Allegheny.

Fayette volleyball has clinched a semi-final game at Rec Hall with a 4 set win over Greater Allegheny this evening. Fayette was off to a slow start with a 26-24 loss in the first set, but lit a fire winning three sets in a row.  Kamden Miller finished the game with 12 kills and 15 digs and Pasepa Driso-Buwawa had 10 kills, 15 digs and 8 blocks. Tyannah Eddings had impressive finish with 20 digs and Rylan Musgrove had a respectable 20 assists. With this win secured, it will be Fayette's first time going to the PSUAC Semi Finals in four years since their PSUAC and USCAA National Championship victories in 2019. Fayette history at Rec Hall speaks for it's self, making it to Rec Hall over a dozen times and winning 12 PSUAC Championships since 1998 when the PSUAC was created, 7 of which were consecutive, making Rec Hall a second home for Fayette. Fayette is set to play the PSUAC Semi Final game at 7:00 P.M. Monday against Penn State York, which is 12-0 on the PSUAC West and ranked 5th in the USCAA Coaches Poll.
