York, PA- Fayette has loss to Mont Alto and York this weekend.

Fayette hit the road , traveling to Penn State Mont Alto for a PSUAC West Conference game. Fayette was neck and neck with Mont Alto for three quarters of the game, only letting the Mont Alto Lions lead by 3 at the most. Heading into the fourth, Fayette was in the lead by four points with a score of 32-28. However the Mont Alto team caught fire, outscoring Fayette in the fourth 24-8. This will mark Fayette's fourth loss in the conference, second on the West side. Depite the loss, leading for Fayette was Sophia Zalar with 10 points and 5 rebounds. 

Fayette travled to York this afternoon and had a heat breaking loss, with a final score of 59-57. The score per quarter were tight, but it wasn't enough for Fayette to hold on. Fayette needed to foul to slow the game down, but unfortunately it led to playing catch up on the offensive side. Despite a three made from Heaven Grumm it wasn't enough to push into overtime. Leading for Fayette was Sophia Zalar with 22 points and 8 rebounds. 

 

Fayette will play on Friday at home against Penn State Scranton at 6:00 P.M.
