CAMDEN, N.J. -- Penn State Brandywine saw its five-match winning streak come to an end as the Lions' volleyball team was knocked off by Rutgers-Camden 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-7) on Thursday night.
Brandi James (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) recorded a team-high 14 digs and matched Kira Thorne (Alconbury, England/Alconbury) with a team-best three kills. Gianna Anthony (Newtown Square, Pa./Sacred Heart Academy) registered 10 digs, while Alsatia Haas-Tome (Norwood, Pa./Interboro) tallied seven digs and Rikelle Taylor (Nottingham, Pa./Solanco) tallied two blocks.
Rebecca Gonzalez (Clearwater, Fla./Washburn Academy) dished out five assists and Madison Swenson (Chadds Ford, Pa./Kennett) added four assists to aid the offense.
Brandywine (10-13, 9-1 PSUAC) will play its final non-conference match of the season Wednesday at Rosemont beginning at 5:00 pm.
