Fayette falls in USCAA Tournament

Fayette battled strong on Friday night with Kent State Tusc., a top three Nationally ranked team. Fayette upset UCC and Penn State York heading into the semi final game against Kent State Tuscarawas. Fayette was able to take sets one and two, but fell short to the golden Eagles in set three and four. Then it was time for a fifth set showdown. Fayette battled, but it ultimately ended in a loss 15-10 for the fifth set. Despite the loss, Fayette showed their belonging in the tournament, coming in ranked sixth and finishing one place out of the finals. Fayette was lead by Pasepa Driso-Buwawa with 17 kills, 20 digs and 6 total blocks. Emma Eckert finished with 32 assists and Tyannah Eddings with 20 digs.

Fayette then took on Penn State York, a team they have become familiar with over the past few weeks. Penn State York took over the game completely, winning it 3-0 to finish off both of their seasons.
