The Penn State Shenango Women's Volleyball team took a tough loss to the Saint Vincent Bearcats Tuesday evening, falling in straights sets (25-7, 25-17, 25-11).

Saint Vincent jumped out to an early lead in the first set and never looked back, rolling to a 25-7 win. In the second set, the Bearcats jumped out to an early 11-3 lead before the Lions came roaring back, ultimately dropping the set 25-17. The third set finished much like the first, with the Bearcats dominating throughout and finishing the match with a 25-11 victory.

The Lions were led by sophomore Ella Stewart, who tallied 9 kills on the night. First-year Kiara Varion added 14 assists, while Emma Murdock picked up 15 digs.

Shenango is back in action on Thursday, September 7th with a home match against Waynesburg University. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
