Fayette wins in five against Beaver

Lemont Furnace, PA- Fayette wins in a 5 set thriller against Penn State Beaver.

Penn State Fayette entered the match up last night 2-0 in the PSUAC against Penn State Beaver (1-1 at the time). Fayette started off strong with a 25-18 set, but Beaver answered with a 25-16 second set. Headind into the fourth, Fayette was up 2-1 in the match, but Beaver survived with a 25-23 finish. The fifth set was a nail biter between the two strong-willed teams, but Fayette ended on top with a thrilling 16-14 win. 

Fayette was lead by Kamden Miller who had 14 kills and 19 digs, followed closely was Pasepa Driso-Buwawa with 10 kills, 16 digs, and 4 blocks. Setter, Emma Eckert, followed suit with 19 assists.

Coach Anna Tale commented on the big win, "It was a close game tonight, but I'm very proud of this group of women, everyone stepped up tonight and fought til the end."

Fayette will go on the road to UCC, where they will face their USCAA rival on Saturday.
